The city announced plans on Thursday to bring huge changes to the centuries-old Coney Island landmark.

Part of those changes will include 1,500 new mixed-income housing to be built on West 21st and West 22nd streets.

A total of 500 units will be built in the first phase of the project, which is estimated to break ground in 2026.

A total of 25% of those apartments will be designated for affordable housing.

As for the amusement park itself, there’s a $42 million renovation to the Abe Stark Sports facility included in the plans and reconstruction of the Riegelmann Boardwalk.

NYC’s Economic Development Corporation said the city is currently seeking developers to begin the first phase of new housing until May.
