A Queens man was sentenced Monday to 39 years to life in prison for the attempted murder of an NYPD officer from Hauppauge, according to the Queens district attorney.

Devin Spraggins was found guilty in November of shooting Officer Brett Boller.

Boller was shot in the leg in 2023 while responding to a fight on a bus in Queens. The officer was just three months on the job.
