A woman who was stabbed 22 times at a McDonald’s in Bay Shore told her story exclusively to News 12.
Michelle Price, 41, says she was attacked while at the drive-thru of the McDonald’s on 5th Avenue Saturday morning.
Court documents show Price’s ex-husband, 36-year-old Willie Curry, of Brentwood, was arrested. Authorities say Curry used a folding knife. Price needed more than 60 staples when she was treated at South Shore University Hospital.
Price currently resides in Georgia. Her mother lives in Bay Shore. She obtained an order of protection against her ex-husband one day before the incident.
Curry is charged with assault with a weapon and criminal contempt, for allegedly violating the order of protection.
Curry pleaded not guilty and his bail was set at $200,000 cash.
Price testified before a grand jury Wednesday at the Suffolk County courthouse in Riverhead.
