Two apartments at 244 Bainbridge St. were destroyed after an overnight fire ripped through the building.

The NYPD told News 12 the fire started after 11 p.m. Wednesday, and took dozens of firefighters to get it under control.

No one was reported injured in the fire.

The apartment building has four floors, and one can see straight through the first-floor apartment.

The second-floor apartment was also severely damaged.

On Wednesday morning, the Red Cross was also at the building and assisted both households with emergency financial assistance and a place to stay.

There is no information on what started the fire or when the apartment will be repaired.
