The woman known locally as "Mamma Lombari" has died.

Michelina Lombardi passed away on Thursday.

The Holbrook restaurant that shares her name announced the passing on social media.

Mamma Lombardi’s was also closed on Monday to mourn the loss.

The Lombardi family operates five restaurants in Holbrook, Patchogue and Mattituck.Michelina was 92.
