An East Meadow woman accused of driving while intoxicated and causing a fatal crash Friday night in Old Bethpage is facing multiple charges.
Police say Cheryl Bergenstock, 64, was driving on Round Swamp Road when she struck a car driven by 82-year-old Alan Goldsand.
Goldsand was airlifted to a hospital and later died, according to authorities.
Police say the charges against Bergenstock include driving while intoxicated, second-degree vehicular assault and second-degree assault.
