St. Aloysius Interfaith Food Pantry in Great Neck is in need of donations for its fruits and vegetable program.
"The main concern is that we have to make sure we have fresh fruits and vegetables available for local families," says Allan Lowenkron, of Temple Beth-El of Great Neck.
Last year, the pantry lost a $10,000 grant donation for its produce program.
"I hope we get the funding to continue to do this," says Bertha Del Carpio, who works as the head coordinator at St. Aloysius Interfaith Food Pantry.
