The Commack Fire Department and Suffolk police honored a fallen officer Saturday with their 14th annual blood drive.

Organizers say the annual event commemorates the legacy of the late officer.
The drive runs until 5 p.m. Saturday at the Commack Fire Department on Jericho Turnpike.
