A former nurse manager at the Nassau County Correctional Center is accused of having an unauthorized relationship with an inmate.

Yasmin Talbot, of Levittown, was indicted Thursday on charges that she helped Christopher Wright get a knife and shared confidential information with him.

Prosecutors say it happened between January and May of 2023.

The district attorney says the 48-year-old gave Wright a ceramic blade during a visit to the medical unit. Talbot also allegedly illegally added money to his commissary account using a fake name.

Talbot and Wright both pleaded not guilty. If convicted, they each face up to seven years in prison.
