A Medford man was found guilty Friday of murdering his ex-girlfriend.

Wayne Chambers, 51, stabbed Sandra McIntosh over two dozen times in a wooded area in Holtsville in 2021. It happened after Chambers picked up McIntosh from her job as a nurse at Stony Brook University Hospital.

Chambers was later found in the Bronx. Prosecutors say the the victim's blood was found in his car.

Chambers is expected to be sentenced next month. He is facing 25 years to life behind bars.
