The Massoud family has turned Paumanok into one of Long Island's premier wineries.
Several years ago, they acquired another popular winery, Palmer in Riverhead, which was also founded in 1983.
As if two 40th anniversaries aren't enough to celebrate, Paumanok also won New York State Winery of the Year for a fourth time and one of Paumanok's wines won the Governor's Cup as the state's best wine of 2023.
