Police say a man has died after getting hit by a car in Holbrook.
According to police, Patrick Heckman, 66, was crossing Patchogue Holbrook Road near Vacation Court when he was hit by a Volvo sedan on Monday night.
Heckman, of Holbrook, died at the hospital.
The driver of the car was not hurt and stayed at the scene.
