Police: 1 dead in Amityville hit-and-run crash, 1 person charged
A man is dead and another person has been arrested after a hit-and-run crash in Amityville Sunday night.

Officers report they received a call a little before midnight, reporting an incident on Route 110 near Albany Avenue.
Police have identified the victim as 47-year-old Santos Aguirre.
Authorities say they have charged 26-year-old Danielle Lapersonerie with DWI.
They are currently looking for the other driver connected to the crash.
