News 12 has been told Greenport's Mitchell Park Carousel is expected to reopen in a matter of days.

The village deputy mayor says the hope is to have the carousel open and running for Memorial Day.

The ride has been shut down for repairs since mid-April after lead paint was found in one of the wooden horses.
