Sachem North students accused of displaying offensive signs at football game against William Floyd

Detectives have identified the man fatally shot Sunday night in New Cassel.

According to police, the victim is 26-year-old Quaraan Williams, of Baldwin.

Police say they found Williams suffering from multiple gunshot wounds near a house on State Street after responding to a 911 call for shots fired.

Williams was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.
