If you are someone who likes to dine out, you may be missing out on hundreds of dollars in rewards.
News 12's Kristie Reeter has the Real Deal on an app that pays you back with just the scan of a receipt.
Bo Peapody is the co-founder of the app Seated. To use the app, you have to sign up for free and then make a reservation or find a restaurant that participates. It will show you what percentage you will get back by eating at that restaurant.
"Seated essentially allows them (the restaurant) to offer the consumer a cashback reward, depending on when they come, so if I come on Monday night, I am going to get a larger cashback reward than if I come on a Saturday," says Peapody.
Just upload your receipt and you will receive rewards that can be redeemed through the Seated store.
Caleb Silver, editor in chief of Investopedia, says apps like Seated help bring customers to restaurants -- a momentum that owners want to see stick around.
