17h agoTwo sharks were caught by a fisherman in Suffolk County Thursday.
It happened on the shoreline in Smith Point County Park in the Mastic/Shirley area.
News 12 is told there were people on the beach nearby.
The sharks were released back into the water.
It follows Wednesday’s shark sightings further west in Robert Moses State Park and Jones Beach.
