New pop-up vaccination sites are now open in two minority communities on Long Island.
The first site is located in Roosevelt at Memorial Presbyterian Church on Babylon Turnpike. A total of 250 appointments were available – all have been taken.
The second location at St. Hugh Of Lincoln Church in Huntington Station is also booked.
Officials say they are hoping to open more pop-up sites in the coming weeks as more doses become available.
