A car crash left two people dead Friday night in Hicksville, according to Nassau police.

Authorities say a 23-year-old man driving a white BMW westbound on Old Country Road lost control around 11:30 p.m.

His vehicle crossed over into oncoming traffic, truck a tree and then hit a building.

Two 19-year-old female passengers inside the vehicle sustained severe trauma and were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver was hospitalized. Police have yet to specify his condition.

Authorities ay an investigation is ongoing.
