Two NYPD officers have been arrested for allegedly beating a Long Beach firefighter.
Investigators say firefighter Brian McNamara was walking along West Beech Street when a group of men made comments about his sister. A fight then broke out, resulting in three men allegedly beating McNamara.
NYPD officers Douglas Rome, of Floral Park, and Jason Ragoo, of Long Beach, were arrested. They have been suspended without pay and stripped of their guns and badges.
A third suspect is still on the loose.
