Police say they have arrested two suspects in connection to the attempted robbery of tires and rims from a Smithtown car dealership.
According to police, around 2:30 a.m. Sunday they noticed a suspicious car at the King O'Rourke Dealership.
Police say Steven Hall, of Lake Grove, and Joseph Stoddard, of Lake Ronkonkoma, were trying to steal the tires and rims from a Cadillac Escalade
Managers at the dealership say they've been hit several times over the past couple of months because rims are a hot commodity.
Detectives say the men ran when they saw the officers.
The duo was arrested a short time later.
