A teenager has been charged in a fatal shooting that happened at a church parking lot in Bay Shore.

The suspect is 18, but News 12 is told that he was 16 when he killed Linver Ortiz Ponce outside House of Prayer Church of God on Holbrook Street.

The shooting happened in 2022.

Police have not released the name of the suspect.
