While the coronavirus has changed so much during the pandemic, Make-A-Wish Connecticut is still doing its best to make wishes and dreams come true.
Naydali Reyes Torres turned 15 on Tuesday, and got to celebrate her quinceañera in style.
Naydali has a blood disorder and was planning a big gathering at a restaurant, but the pandemic changed her plans. So Make-A-Wish Connecticut helped her celebrate her birthday with a parade.
She says she found out this Friday at Nordstrom's in Norwalk, which dressed her like a princess. Her family says they are very grateful.
Several businesses helped make the party happen. Make-A-Wish says it is still trying its best to grant wishes during the pandemic although many have had to be postponed.
