15th annual Bethpage Turkey Drive held as Thanksgiving nears

With hundreds of thousands of Long Islanders in need, organizers say donations are needed now more than ever.

The 15th annual Bethpage Turkey Drive for Island Harvest Food Bank was held in Bethpage Friday.
With hundreds of thousands of Long Islanders in need, organizers say donations are needed now more than ever.
The drive was held at the Bethpage Federal Credit Union’s headquarters in Bethpage. 
Premier Payroll Solutions and Meltzer Lippe Foundation donated to the drive.
Brian Froelich, of Data King, donated 300 turkeys, this is the 10th year he donated. Nassau PBA donated $5,000.

Last year, 3,700 turkeys were donated.
Barry and Marie Landsman and the Girl Scouts of Plainview/Old Bethpage donate to the drive.
