Bright students from 28 Long Island schools participated in the 13th annual Molloy College Science Fair in Rockville Centre.
There were so many applicants that organizers had to put them into two different rooms. All together there were 275 displays.
One student did research on people who are colorblind. Two others conducted a study on tree resilience in the sustainability of urban environments.
Judges say they have a tough job on their hands.
The winners will be announced next month at Molloy College.
