Westchester media giant Bill O'Shaughnessy dies at 84

O'Shaughnessy was a former president of the New York State Broadcasters and chairman of public affairs for the National Association of Broadcasters.

Westchester media giant Bill O'Shaughnessy has died.
The 84-year-old reportedly died at his home Saturday in Connecticut.
O'Shaughnessy was a former president of the New York State Broadcasters and chairman of public affairs for the National Association of Broadcasters.
O'Shaughnessy was also the owner and president of Whitney Radio, which owns and operates WVOX and WRTN.
Services will take place at Lloyd Maxcy Funeral Home in New Rochelle at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31.
The funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua in Litchfield, Connecticut at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 1.
Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano took to Twitter writing, " There was no other like him. You will be missed. Rest easy, Bill.”
