They say April showers bring May flowers, and it feels like Long Island is getting all the rain it needs in these 48 hours!

The rain is causing some visibility issues on area roadways.

Officials are telling drivers to reduce their speed and be prepared for a deep pothole or puddle.

Thunderbolt 12 was on the expressway in the Syosset area, and the entrance and exit ramps had slowed traffic due to water pooling.

Make sure you've got rainboots on for those puddles, a rain jacket to help keep dry and the umbrella. You will need it on and off until late tomorrow!
