Several people seen exiting Splish Splash on surveillance video are wanted for questioning in connection with an alleged groping incident at the water park last week.

Four girls, ages 11 to 13, were at the park on Aug. 21 with the Huntington YMCA when they told a counselor that they were touched by a group of men in the wave pool.

Park security escorted the men off the property, but didn't take their names or call police.

The mothers of the alleged victims say the camp counselor and park security dropped the ball.

“They just let them walk out. They did not ask any questions. The park wasn't worried if they would come back again…Nobody cared,” said one mother, who asked not to be named.

A spokesperson for Splish Splash released a statement saying that the camp counselor declined when park security asked if she wanted to contact police.

They also say that none of the five on-duty lifeguards at the wave pool saw any inappropriate behavior.

According to the statement, "The girl claimed that she was inappropriately touched by a group who were playing with a soccer ball, but did not see anyone's face to identify them. The girl was also unable to relay any information about how she was inappropriately touched."

Suffolk Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Authorities are urging anyone with information to call 1-800-220-TIPS.
