Monday marked the calm before the latest storm, and nor'easter-weary Long Islanders were once again bracing for snow, gusty winds and coastal flooding.
Residents in low-lying coastal communities like Lindenhurst were moving their cars to higher ground.
Others were out shopping for the necessities so they could keep off the roads when the storm arrives.
News 12 meteorologists say the storm will bring 4-8 inches of snow to Suffolk, and 3-6 inches to Nassau.

It will also pack gusty winds, which could spell power outages when combined with the wet, heavy snow. And coastal flooding will be a concern, especially around times of high tide.
