Police ask for public's help in finding suspect who shot father in Parkchester
Police are asking for the public's help in finding the gunman who shot and killed a Bronx dad hours before he planned to celebrate Father's Day with his daughters. According to police, Emiliano Rivera Jr. was shot twice after leaving the bar Mi Gente in Parkchester. Family members say the shooting was over jealousy and Rivera was not the intended target. They say it all started when their cousin was dancing with the gunman's girlfriend at the bar. Police are now looking for 25-year-old Jose Lozada. A $2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Lozada's arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
