Thursday is primary day in New York, and two Democrats are vying for the nomination for Nassau County district attorney.
Acting District Attorney Madeline Singas is hoping to continue in the job she was appointed to when Rep. Kathleen Rice left for Congress.
Michael Scotto wants to bring his more than 20 years of experience in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office to work for the people of Nassau.
