Police are asking for the public's help after messages of hate were found in mailboxes throughout Plainview.
The flyers reference the Goyim Defense League, which according to the Anti-Defamation League, is an antisemitic hate group.
Nassau Legislator Arnie Drucker said Sunday that police are searching for the perpetrators.
"More importantly, we have to understand where it's coming from. It's on the rise, it's not isolated incidents anymore, it's an undercurrent that's pervading Long Island and Nassau County. It has to stop and we're not going to stand for it," Drucker said.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police.
