The FDNY responded to two fires in the Bronx overnight.
The first was in Parkchester around 12:30 a.m. along Metropolitan Oval near Wood Road.
The FDNY says a fire on the seventh floor of a building left one person with minor injuries.
The second fire was in Mott Haven at a smoke shop on Brook Avenue just before 1 a.m.
The FDNY says one person had serious injuries and was taken to a hospital. The victim is expected to recover.
The causes of both fires were not immediately clear.
