A single-engine plane made an emergency landing on Atlantique Beach in Fire Island Monday afternoon, according to the FAA.

News 12 is told two people were aboard the plane when it landed just after 12 p.m.

The plane is registered to Icarus Flying Academy based out of Republic Airport in Farmingdale.

There were no reports of any injuries.
