Brentwood man dies after crashing into Oceanside Starbucks

A 47-year-old Brentwood man who crashed into a Starbucks in Oceanside was later pronounced dead.

A 47-year-old Brentwood man who crashed into a Starbucks in Oceanside was later pronounced dead.
Detectives say Michael Fearon was driving a 2005 Suzuki southbound on Long Beach Road in Oceanside when he crossed into the northbound lane.
The vehicle collided with curbs and shrubs and continued southbound, where the vehicle struck the Starbucks.
Officers say Fearon was unresponsive and not breathing upon arrival. He was later pronounced dead at South Nassau Communities Hospital.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. It hasn’t yet been determined how Fearon lost control of the vehicle.
