Bed, Bath & Beyond plans to close all Harmon drug stores on Long Island

The Harmon stores that will close are located in Massapequa, Plainview, Mineola, Carle Place, Melville and Commack.

Bed Bath & Beyond plans to close one of its locations in Nassau County and all Harmon drug stores on Long Island as it tries to avoid bankruptcy.
The Bed Bath & Beyond that will close is located on Union Turnpike in New Hyde Park, according to the retail giant.
The Harmon stores that will close are located in Massapequa, Plainview, Mineola, Carle Place, Melville and Commack.
Overall, 87 additional locations are set for shut down across 30 states.
Last August, Bed Bath & Beyond officials said the chain would close about 150 of its more than 900 locations nationwide as it sought to climb out of its financial hole.
