News 12 is told Yonkers Public Schools will be remote from Nov. 30 through Dec. 2 to be able to complete Gov. Andrew Cuomo's required coronavirus testing. The schools will return to the hybrid model on Dec. 3.
Separately, Peekskill school officials say that the school will be closed on Monday, Nov. 30 due to a positive COVID-19 case. They say they need time for contact tracing, and that only essential employees will be allowed in the building.
Officials say students should log on to school online.
