Waterbury police identify suspect after 2-year-old hit by gunfire inside home

They say 20-year-old Kharis Samuels, of Waterbury, is responsible for bringing a gun into the toddler's home.

Waterbury police have identified a suspect in a Tuesday shooting that hit a 2-year-old. The toddler is in stable condition.
They say 20-year-old Kharis Samuels, of Waterbury, is responsible for bringing a gun into the toddler's home.
Officers say the 2-year-old was hit by gunfire inside a home on Pinecrest Drive while Samuels was showing off a gun.
Authorities believe Samuels may have fled the area.
