Suffolk set to administer 1,800 monkeypox vaccines, starting next week

Suffolk health officials say the number of monkeypox cases in the county now stands at nine.

Suffolk County is set to administer 1,800 monkeypox vaccines next week as the number of cases climb to nine.
The Edie Windsor Healthcare Center in Hampton Bays will be hosting clinics on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The time slots will go live on Suffolk's website on Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
In Bay Shore, shots will be administered on Wednesday at the Northwell Health Community Center. Appointments will open on Monday at 9 a.m.
Northwell Health is administering more than 500 monkeypox vaccines Thursday at Cherry Grove.
