Police: 67-year-old pedestrian struck, killed by motorcycle in Massapequa

Police say a 67-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Massapequa Friday night.

Police say a 67-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Massapequa Friday night.
They say the man and another pedestrian were trying to cross Merrick Road when they were struck by a motorcycle around 6:45 p.m.
The man was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The motorcycle rider was airlifted to the hospital in serious condition.
The other pedestrian is said to be in fair condition.
Police are not releasing the identity of the victim pending family notification.
