Police say a distraught man barricaded himself inside of a home in Williston Park Tuesday night.

Negotiators and the Bureau of Special Operations arrived at the scene on Temple Street at 4 p.m. The standoff has since ended.

Authorities say the man was not a danger to the surrounding community. No injuries were reported, and there were no charges.
