To mark Domestic Violence Awareness Month – Safe Horizon, an organization offering services to victims of domestic violence, is rolling out its annual Put The Nail In It (#putthenailinit) campaign.
Safe Horizons is asking people to paint their ring fingernail purple and open up what they call a much-needed conversation about domestic violence.

“I think the campaign is going to spark curiosity about the issue,” says Wanda Lucibello, vice president at Safe Horizons.
Anyone experiencing domestic violence can call Safe Horizon’s hotline at 1-800-621-HOPE.
