A North Valley Stream man was arrested and charged in a mortgage fraud scheme.
Police say Rickie Roberts acted as a real estate agent, showing two women multiple properties over the course of three years.
They say during that time the women gave Roberts checks totaling more than $150,000.
Roberts allegedly told the victims they had to make payments to cover banking fees and down payments to show good faith.
He is now facing grand larceny charges.
Anyone who thinks they may have been a victim in this case is asked to contact police.
