A couple plans to sue a Brooklyn hospital that they say lost their stillborn baby.
Sabrina Wise tells News 12 she gave birth to her daughter, Jhamya Brielle, on May 18 at the Brooklyn Hospital Center.
She sent a funeral director to the hospital a week later to get her baby for cremation, but she wasn't found.
Hospital administrators called Wise the next day to say they found her daughter, but the couple still wants to know where their baby was.
"I can't rest until I know where my baby was," Wise said. "Even if it was somewhere bad, just tell me where my baby was and just deal with it. Whatever it is, it's not OK."
Wise was told they found her daughter in a room on the second floor, but doesn't believe the hospital is telling the truth.
"We still don't know if our baby was in a garbage in the dumpster," Wise said. "They're not telling us anything."
The couple says they plan to sue the hospital but even that won't make them feel better.
News 12 reached out to the Brooklyn Hospital Center for a response. They are inquiring about the claims and say they will provide a comment later.
