Federal agents and police executed search warrants Tuesday at two homes in Suffolk County.
Police say the raids are part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
At a home on Mount Vernon Avenue in Medford, Homeland Security agents were seen loading large items into a truck. Sources say the house was being used to grow marijuana and could be part of a large marijuana-dealing ring in the area.
Neighbor Dave Williams says he saw police pulling large lights and other electronics from the home, and then loading them onto a truck.
Suffolk police say a second search warrant was executed on Woodside Avenue in North Patchogue. Residents say they saw officers repeatedly going into and out of a home.
Witnesses reported several other police raids nearby, though it's unknown how many homes may have been targeted.
It's unclear whether any arrests were made, nor is it known if any drugs were seized.
