After a cold, windy day today with a few scattered mixed snow and rain showers, tonight through Saturday will at least be dry.
That said, it will still feel cold on Saturday, even though it will not be as windy as Friday was. Thankfully, it is a sunny start to the weekend, though!
Then, we have the first of two weather systems we are watching move in on Sunday during the mid- to late-morning hours.
This will mostly be rain, but there can be some snow in the higher elevations of Ulster and Sullivan Counties. Rain will taper off from west to east after 4 p.m. Sunday.
Monday will be a nice day with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the 40s.
Tuesday will feature our first complex winter storm of the season that will bring a mix of snow, sleet and rain to the Hudson Valley.
Accumulating snow is likely, especially in higher elevations. The details depend on the exact storm track, timing and intensity of this storm, which will become clearer through the weekend. But travel can be dramatically impacted by wet and wintry weather on Tuesday. Please keep this in mind!
This is one you will want to check back with News 12 throughout the weekend for updates on! The entire News 12 Storm Watch Team will have you covered with the very newest information on-air, on social media and the News 12 app.
Have a great night and weekend!
