Long Island to see fall-like chill during workweek
News 12 meteorologists say to expect a fall-like week, but not terribly chilly weather.
Residents should also expect gusty winds and a few passing and isolated quick downpours during peak midday afternoon hours Monday.
On Monday, expect to wake up to sun and then clouds. The day should be windy and a bit cool with a high around 60 degrees and a passing sprinkle or quick shower throughout the day.
The weather will drop tremendously and be quite chilly Monday night with temperatures in the 40s and a few 30s across the Pine Barrens.
Tuesday kicks off with a chilly start. Then, it gets sunny and breezy during the day with highs near 67 degrees.
On Wednesday, the weather picks up to be sunnier, less breezy and milder with highs near 70 degrees.
Thursday will light up the day and some clouds later in the day. Expect temperature highs near 70 degrees.
The weekend starts off on Friday with chances of a morning shower and a cloudy day. The temperature drops to the low 60s.
