309ds agoA rally in support of Ukraine was held in Morristown Thursday evening.
The event was organized by local volunteers and was sponsored by the Ukrainian American Cultural Center in Whippany.
Attendees were encouraged to donate money and supplies. They were treated to performances by Ukrainian dancers and musicians. A candlelight prayer also took place at sundown.
"It's about community and it's about supporting each other, and it's about supporting this absolute horrendous world they're living in right now with constant bombardment from Russia,” said Mayor Timothy Dougherty.
