Puerto Rican Parade in Elizabeth collects donation for hurricane-ravaged island

This year’s Puerto Rican parade in Elizabeth is helping the island recover from Hurricane Fiona.
Pentecostal Social Service Agency is just one of many groups working closely with the Puerto Rican Alliance of Elizabeth to gather donations at the parade.
"So far it's been wonderful. We've had so many people bring things early, and we are just so grateful for the community, for everyone and the state of New Jersey,” said Lily Duran, Executive Director of Puerto Rican Alliance of Elizabeth.
In addition to financial donations, people also gave first aid kits, lamps and flashlights.
