Health officials say it is OK to eat some romaine lettuce again – but you must check the label.
Last week, the FDA warned not to eat any romaine lettuce because of an e-coli outbreak.
The agency says the outbreak appears to be linked to lettuce from California’s central coast. They are warning consumers to check the label to see if it is from somewhere else.
If consumers can’t find a label, officials say it is best to avoid eating it.
